Homework & Class Work
I do not plan to assign homework every night. When homework is assigned it will typically be due the next day unless it is a project. I will accept late work until the end of each quarter. It is up to the student not to get behind on content because of missing work. I will also allow re dos on homework and tests to improve their grades. I will require a re do if the student gets below a C. Anyone who wants to re do an assignment can see me to schedule a time to complete it.
Class Binder
1. You should bring your class binder to every class period. There should be 4 dividers in your binder labeled class work, bell work, notes, experiments. This will help them stay organized in my class. I will keep these binders in my classroom unless they need them to complete homework. They will have to check them out along with science books.
2. Each student will also have a folder to take home with them. This is where they should put any items that will be going home that day including homework, parent letters, etc. G

Good Character Cards
These will be given to each student in my class. Every time I see them do something well or improve on something I will put a stamp in one of the boxes. At the end of the week I will count each students stamps and they will get $1 in monopoly money for each stamp. They will be responsible for keeping track of their money. Once a month I will bring in little gifts or candy with prices on them for the students to use their money to buy. If they choose not to buy anything they can save it for next time!
