Daily Schedule
- You will see me for 55 minutes a day!
- 10 minutes: Bell Work (assessment questions from the previous day)
- 20 minutes: Discussion over new topic of review
- 20 minutes: working in centers, on an experiment, or individual work
- 5 minutes: wrap up/ clean up
Transitions:
* I will set a timer for bell work. Students will know when the timer goes up it is time to clear desks for discussion.
*Students will be grouped for centers. I will have groups picked for them. They will report to centers. I will move around the room to answer any questions they may have about directions and make sure they are on task. This will be a good time to pull students to my back table who need extra help.
*I will announce when we have five minutes to go. My students will know that this means to clean up. There will usually be four stations. The amount of time at each center will depend on the topic and activities at each station. The students could get to all stations in one day, or they could take four days to get to all stations. They are not to rotate centers unless I tell them to.
*If my class is getting off task or talking too loud I will ring a cow bell. They will then know to get quiet, pay attention, or get back on task.
